Injection Molding Principle of Plastic Mould and Its Application Areas

    Mold industrial production used for injection, blow molding, extrusion, die casting or forging, forming, smelting, stamping and other methods to obtain the required products of various moulds and tools. In short, the mould is a tool used to make moulding objects. This tool is composed of various parts, and different moulds are composed of different parts. It mainly realizes the processing of the shape of the object by changing the physical state of the moulding material. It is known as the "mother of industry".


    With the development of China's industrial manufacturing, after decades of accumulation of die manufacturing technology, die products are gradually applied to all walks of life, showing a synchronous development trend of vertical and horizontal depth. Under the background of the improvement of die manufacturing technology and the increasingly fierce market competition, die products are gradually widely used in light industrial products, which are mainly represented by automobiles and household appliances, consumer electronics and plastic products. Next we mainly introduce the application fields of plastic mould and plastic mould: according to the different forming methods, we can divide the types of plastic processing mould corresponding to different process requirements, mainly including injection mould, extrusion mould, suction mould, high foaming polystyrene molding mould, etc.


    1. Plastic Injection (Plastic) Mould


    It is mainly a kind of moulding mould which is widely used in the production of thermoplastic parts. The processing equipment of plastic injection moulds is plastic injection moulding machine. Plastics are first heated and melted in the bottom heating barrel of injection moulds. Then, driven by the screw or plunger of injection moulds, the injection moulds are cooled and hardened by the injection nozzle and the injection moulds pouring system. The product is obtained by demoulding. Its structure is usually composed of forming parts, pouring system, guiding parts, pushing mechanism, temperature control system, exhaust system, supporting parts and so on. Plastic die steel module is usually used for manufacturing materials. The common materials are carbon structural steel, carbon tool steel, alloy tool steel, high-speed steel and so on. Injection moulding process is usually only suitable for the production of thermoplastic products. Plastic products produced by injection moulding process are very extensive. From daily necessities to all kinds of complicated machinery, electrical appliances and transportation parts are all moulded by injection moulds. It is the most widely used processing method in the production of plastic products.


    2. Plastic Mold


    It includes compression and injection moulding. They are mainly used to form thermosetting plastic molds, and the corresponding equipment is the pressure moulding machine. According to the characteristics of plastics, the mould is heated to the forming temperature (usually 103-108 degrees). Then the measured powder is put into the cavity and charging chamber of the mould, and the mould is closed. Under the action of high heat and high pressure, the plastics are softened and viscous flow. After a certain period of time, the mould is solidified and shaped to become the desired shape of the product. Different from compression moulding, injection moulding has a separate feeding chamber. Before moulding, the mould closes first, and the plastic preheates in the feeding chamber in a viscous flow state. Under the action of pressure, it is adjusted to squeeze into the die cavity and harden. Compression moulds are also used to form some special thermoplastics, such as thermoplastics (such as polyvinyl fluoride) blanks (cold pressing), resin lenses with high optical properties, slightly foamed cellulose nitrate automobile steering wheel, etc. Compression mold is mainly composed of cavity, feeding cavity, guiding mechanism, pushing parts, heating system and so on. Injection moulds are widely used in packaging electrical components. The material used in the manufacture of compression moulds is basically the same as that of injection moulds.
